What to Bring to Virginia Camps:
- Hampden-Sydney College and Old Dominion University require a $75.00 cash room damage deposit from each student. This fee will be refunded at checkout time when the key is turned in and there is no damage to your room. This fee must be paid in cash at registration time. Please keep this letter as no other will be sent to you except upon request.
- Each wrestler must furnish his own linens, (single bed) blanket, towels, pillow, wrestling gear, shoes, knee pads, etc, and personal items. Shorts and T-shirts are worn to wrestling practice. You should bring enough changes to last for four days (there are 11 sessions total). Granby T-shirts, shorts, hats and Granby Videos may be purchased during the week. There will also be a concession area open eachnight after the last session.
- We will use the facilities of the school, including athletic fields, gyms, tennis courts, and swimming pool. All dorms are air conditioned at Hampden-Sydney and ODU. Our experienced staff will guide you through out the week.
- If you need any other information please call Steve or Lori Martin at the numbers listed on the contact us page. Please be prepared to work and wrestle. Everything possible will be done to ensure that you have an interesting and rewarding week.
- All wrestlers are required to attend all sessions and must comply with the rules of the school. Any violations or abuse of the rules will result in immediate dismissal from the school, without refund, and your parents will be called.
